Blessings...

A blessing as defined in wikipedia, (also used to refer to bestowing of such) is the infusion of something with holiness, divine will, or one's hopes.

But is that the true meaning of BLESSING?

Ain't watching an early morning news a blessing? You look around and when you see somebody rise up from rags, you say shes/he is truly blessed...while you whine on your miserable life...But while you complain on such plight, arent you blessed that you are still able to breathe the wonder of life even if you are in a very pathetic situation?

I never ask God for any misfortunes that happen to me, I may cry and rue about it, but I dont question why....I have embraced life the way I welcome death..and for every trial that I encounter, I consider it a blessing...why?

Because for every heartache, God has taught me to love in different degrees.
For every sickness, I thank God for giving me reason to take care of my health the more.
For every family bickering, God showed me to be more patient and loving.
For every betrayal from people, God teaches me to be forgiving.
For every financial strains, God taught me to value money.
For every feeling of loneliness, I feel HIS presence...

So I dont count my blessings on every material gain, but I thank HIM for everything.
This is how God wants us to LIVE, to celebrate LIFE and LIVE it....we have different roles to portray, and while others may have an easier one, you are truly blessed if you can nail your difficult part with grace. For God has a reason for everything...

True Colors...A Kaleidoscope World

This is a tribute to Francis Magalona...The MAN!!!

So many faces, so many races
Different voices, different choices
Some are mad, while others laugh
Some live alone with no better half
Others grieve while others curse
And others mourn behind a big black hearse
Some are pure and some half-bred
Some are sober and some are wasted
Some are rich because of fate and
Some are poor with no food on their plate
Some stand out while others blend
Some are fat and stout while some are thin

Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most, yeah

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope

Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

Some are great and some are few
Others lie while some tell the truth
Some say poems and some do sing
Others sing through their guitar strings
Some know it all while some act dumb
Let the bassline strum to the bang of the drum
Some can swim while some will sink
And some will find their minds and think
Others walk while others run
You can't talk peace and have a gun
Some are hurt and start to cry
Don't ask me how don't ask me why

Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most, yeah

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

FRANCISM...Remembering the MAN!

His name is Francis Magalona (October 4, 1964 - March 6, 2009), also known as FrancisM, Master Rapper, and The Man From Manila, was a Filipino rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, director, and photographer. Often hailed as the "King of Pinoy Rap", he was considered a legend in the Philippine music community. With the success of his earliest albums, he was the first Filipino rapper in the Philippines to cross over to the mainstream. He is also credited for having pioneered the merging of rap with Pinoy rock, becoming a significant influence to artists in that genre as well. He was also a television host on MTV Asia and on noontime variety television show Eat Bulaga! Magalona died seven months after being diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia.

I grew up having a crush on the MAN, he used to be so skinny, yet with a beautiful face...He starred in those teeny-bopper movies when I was the same once myself. He got involved in some drug scandals, but later transformed himself to be a very good rapper, the MAN who was bold enough to introduce freestyle and patriotic-themed style of rapping. Many have followed his footsteps, thats why rapping became a phenomenon hit here in the country.

He is survived by his wife, Pia and 8 children. His remains lie in state 7 at Christ The King Memorial Chapel in Greenmeadows, Quezon City, where the fans can already see their idol for the last time. Francis' remains will be cremated on March 11, Wednesday, at 9 a.m. at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.

Goodbye Kiko, thanks for your memories....
